# [FRAY]
[FRAY] is a framework allowing the development of plugins, patches + parallelograms. [FRAY] is conceived of as a mini series on time, screen + code based experimental media art. [FRAY] consists of coordinated events including interrelated discussions, screenings + projects during the Spring 2006 semester. throughout the semester Conversations At the Edge will host 3 evenings of [FRAY] events including a presentation by Shuddhabrata Sengupta, Dan Sandin screening + discussing his work + "Calculations" a screenings program of early animation films made with computational systems. [FRAY] will involve screenings at the Eye & Ear Clinic. [FRAY] will culminate in a small conference event as a part of the final weekend mini-festival of student work organized by the Film, Video and New Media. the conference aspect of [FRAY] engages New Media artists + theorypractitioners in dynamic panel discussions + presentations.
