# INTERWEAVE

students will interweave early moments of Video Art + Artware by becoming familiar with 2 [applications/platforms/sources] of nfo interrelating these moments, namely:

# OUTPUT

students will create {code|concept}-based artware individually [+/or] collaboratively.

# MEDIA

we will be [discussing/developing] New Media as an art hystorical framework in relation to {screen|time|code}-based experimental media art (from Cinema + Film Art to Video Art + Digital Art) + as social technological concept/construct.

# NEW

New Media's new-ness will be [discussed/developed] in relation to artistic innovations, utopian hopes + technopositivist promises, faded glories + various futurisms.

# DEVELOP

students will be expected to use [technologies/systems] which are [demonstrated/discussed] in class for developing Radical Software [+/or] Critical Artware projects

# UPDATES

students will keep blogs, livejournals, or vlogs during the semester. students will make the uri's of these known to the class.

# OVERVIEW

# EVALUATE

all projects will be critiqued. all projects will also be addressed individually throughout the semester. participation in critiues is required.

# PARAMETERS

class will meet every FRI from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with a one-hour break for nutrients, with the exception of Graduate Critique Week.
